Steven Lagos always knew that he wanted to be an artist. In his high school years he experimented with many forms of art including sculpting, drawing and painting. Spawned from his belief that jewelry is one of the most personal, significant forms of art, Steven Lagos set out on his own and started LAGOS in 1977.

Sights and sounds forever inspire him; most of which are captured from his frequent travels to Asia and Europe. Furthermore and perhaps more personally, the LAGOS woman inspires many of the collections he designs; she is elegant, timeless and classic, never compromising sophistication. Ask Steven Lagos what his favorite pieces are and he will tell you: “I have favorite pieces, but I have not seen the piece that is my best yet.”

Since 1977, LAGOS has crafted beautiful designs of remarkable quality. LAGOS believes in creating jewelry that we can stand behind proudly.
